Permanent Filler

The introduction of the permanent filler to Australia has revolutionised the applications of fillers in facial rejuvenation. Not only can permanent filler be used in the traditional role of a filler (i.e. injections for wrinkles or folds), but because of its permanence, it can also be used for soft tissue augmentation e.g. as a chin or cheek implant or for lip enhancement. It is also used to lift depressed acne scars.
What is The Permanent Filler?

The Permanent Filler is a gel which does not contain microparticles. The gel is permanent, non-absorbable, biocompatible, non toxic and does not migrate from the injection site.

Why is The Permanent Filler so Popular?
People love the idea of a permanent product which can be given so easily, on a walk - in walk out basis. In addition, it has a very soft, natural feel and appearance, with immediate results being achieved

What is the Treatment Like?
Prior to the treatment, we recommend the use of an antibiotic tablet and ointment to minimize the risk of infection. If you are booking in for a treatment, we will post you out a script so that you can start the antibiotics and ointment 24 to 48 hours prior to the procedure. If your are having you lip volume enhanced, we also recommend that you use Arnica for 48 hours prior to the procedure.

During the treatment, the area is first numbed with local anaesthetic. The Permanent Filler is then injected. The results are immediate and it is possible to return straight back to your normal activities. We recommend that you continue the prescribed antibiotics and ointment following the treatment.
